I kept asking myself, what makes this so goddamn enjoyable? The answer is simple: the misogyny.
The singing is fun, and it does its humor well, but the tension was annoying at times. I didn’t like the final scene, and I wish she had more personality but we all know women didn’t develop those until the 90s. Claudette Colbert's performance was very meh. Fanfiction wouldn't exist without it though so thank God for the butterfly effect, I guess.
