★½: Thoroughbreds by Cory Finley

 I kept getting distracted and my expectations were way too high. Also the psychopath trope was kinda stereotypical/flat in that American commodified sort of way. I don’t remember being given a reason to hate her stepdad and also wish this was actually gay. I’m so sick of the letterboxd comments queerbaiting me because I’m too lazy to read 2 page reviews and just see the words “homoerotic tension” and am immediately sold. Underwhelming :/
